Daniel Rossman

Daniel Rossman is a determined and inspiring member of our College Academy at Broward College alumni community who has paved his way to success through perseverance and hard work!

Daniel is currently in his final year at New York University School of Law, one of the top law schools in the world. Reflecting on his journey, Daniel shares that he initially experienced imposter syndrome upon starting at NYU Law. Coming from a public school background, he found himself among peers who had attended prestigious private schools and Ivy League universities. However, Daniel quickly realized that he earned his spot at NYU Law and that his education at College Academy prepared him just as well, if not better, than many private schools. He takes immense pride in being a CA alum and wants all CA graduates to know they can compete among the best.

During his time at NYU Law, Daniel accepted a position at Quinn Emanuel, one of the top litigation firms in the country, in their Miami office. He was among a select few students to receive the offer, and his experience working on high-stakes disputes has been incredibly rewarding. After his internship, Daniel received an official return offer and will be starting as an associate at Quinn Emanuel’s Miami office after he graduates in 2025. 

Daniel’s journey to NYU Law was not without its challenges. After being rejected from his dream undergraduate school, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. When applying to law schools, Daniel faced further setbacks, as he was initially denied admission to every top 25 law school he applied to. However, he persevered, attended FSU College of Law on a scholarship, and finished his first year at the top of his class. His hard work paid off when he was accepted as a transfer to both NYU and Georgetown University Law Center.

Daniel’s story is a testament to resilience and determination. He emphasizes that the path to success may not always be straightforward, but with persistence and hard work, you can achieve your dreams.
